All the companies have internet connection and the internet users are getting increased day by day. But the internet has also disadvantages in the form security attacks like user identity and password theft, data theft, data corrupted, operating system , even the browsers are nowadays often get corrupted due to viruses, worms etc.
Im going to tell some of the important security tips which im sure will be a eye opener for all people.

- Use a alpha numeric password for all your mail id , important documents of your company. It must be surely with alpha numeric at least 10 characters will be great. If you have a combination of Lower and upper case characters its difficult to find out your password and your password you need to update it often. I mean often not in days may be between three months each time you can change the password with that duration.
- The users must know what are the type of threats, you need to give knowledge to the other network users about the threats, An amateur user might not know the incoming threats.
- Don’t download any software or anything from the internet as it might lead into a security issue, Provided that product/service is genuine.
- Use a Firewall software, there are lot of firewall software enabling a firewall on your network will be a great advantage , and remember whatever the software you have installed you need to regularly update the firewall software
- Don’t allow any ads to download any software. Don’t click any false mail attachments like a picture or something from the mail that is very dangerous.
- Its always better to do encryption, where hackers find it difficult to decrypt because there are custom encryption software where the user will only can understand the language of it. Encrypted data has got a high reception in the areas of banking and credit card companies. Even online all the data in our mail are encrypted and decrypted otherwise its very difficult to protect the data.
